1 Corinthians 1:12
Previous Verse
1 Corinthians 1:12
Next Verse

Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

Note 6 at 1Co 1:12: Each one of these groups would have maintained that they were true followers of Christ. They would have claimed that they were simply following Christ the way Paul taught or the way Apollos taught. But, in fact, they were not truly following Christ, because the Lord would never have led them into strife with their brethren.
