But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Note 8 at 1 Cor. 1:24: There is no way to access the wisdom of God except through Jesus, because Jesus is the wisdom of God. Colossians 2:3 says, "In whom (Christ) are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Until a person receives Christ, he is always missing the crucial element that would give him true wisdom.
