But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
Note 5 at 1Co 2:10: Praise God that Paul didn't stop with his statements in 1Co 2:9. It is true that we have never perceived the glorious things of God through our own knowledge. However, that does not mean that we cannot walk in the wisdom of God. We can, if we allow the Holy Spirit to give us revelation knowledge (see note 1 at Lu 2:26 and note 9 at Joh 6:45).
Jer 10:23 says, "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." The Lord did not give His wisdom to man. Instead, man was made to be dependent on God to impart His supernatural wisdom as needed.
People, on their own, are incapable of receiving the wisdom of God, as 1Co 2:9 describes, but those who submit themselves to God have access to the wisdom of God through the Holy Spirit.
