Note 10 at 1 Cor. 3:9: Paul was acutely aware that it was God working through him. This is a vital lesson that every true minister of the gospel must learn. It is true that we can do nothing without Christ (Jn. 15:5), but the Lord will not do anything without us (Eph. 3:20; see note 34 at Rom. 8:17, p. 798). We are laborers together with God.
