1 Corinthians 3:18
Previous Verse
1 Corinthians 3:18
Next Verse

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

Note 10 at 1 Cor. 3:18: Paul is referring back to the points he made in the previous chapters about the wisdom of man versus the wisdom of God (see notes at 1 Cor. 1:10-2:16, p. 860-870). He is saying, if any man is wise by the world's standards, let him forsake that carnal wisdom (become a fool from an unbeliever's viewpoint) that he may walk in the true wisdom of God.
