1 Corinthians 4:7
Next Verse

For who maketh thee to differ [from another]? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive [it], why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received [it]?

Note 4 at 1 Cor. 4:7: This is a great scripture to help us walk in humility with the Lord. Any good thing that we can find in ourselves is a gift from God. If we keep that in mind, it will be impossible to be swelled up with pride. Only a person who forgets this will have pride lead him to destruction (Prov. 16:18).
