1 Corinthians 4:7
Next Verse

For who maketh thee to differ [from another]? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive [it], why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received [it]?

Note 4 at 1Co 4:7: This is a great scripture to help us walk in humility with the Lord. Any good thing that we can find in ourselves is a gift from God. If we keep that in mind, it will be impossible to be swelled up with pride. Only those who forget this will have pride lead them to destruction (Pr 16:18).
