1 Corinthians 4:21
Next Verse

What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and [in] the spirit of meekness?

Note 10 at 1 Cor. 4:21: Paul just promised a return trip to Corinth to personally settle these problems (v. 19). Now he's telling the Corinthians that they can either make his next visit a pleasant one if they repent, or a bitter one if they persist in their prideful ways. The decision is theirs.
