1 Corinthians 4:21
Next Verse

What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and [in] the spirit of meekness?

Note 10 at 1Co 4:21: Paul had just promised a return trip to Corinth to personally settle these problems (1Co 4:19). Here he was telling the Corinthians that they could either make his next visit a pleasant one if they repented, or a bitter one if they persisted in their prideful ways. The decision was theirs.
