If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

Note 4 at 1 Cor. 6:4: Paul is sarcastically saying that the least esteemed member of the church would be adequate to judge these matters. Paul did not believe that a well educated ungodly man was superior to an uneducated believer who was filled with the Spirit of God. The presence of Christ in a person's heart brings a quality that no unbeliever could ever obtain through his head knowledge.
