But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
Note 11 at 1 Cor. 7:9: Anyone who is striving to remain single for the Lord's sake and yet is burning in their desire towards someone, would be better off to marry, according to Paul. If a person is called by God to celibacy, the Lord will give them the grace to live that life.
