1 Corinthians 7:33
Next Verse

But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please [his] wife.

Note 13 at 1 Cor. 7:33: Paul is not saying a married person is more carnal than a single person. He is simply saying that marriage increases our physical responsibilities and makes us spend more time being occupied with the affairs of this life than a single person. If God gives you the grace to be single, use it to seek the Lord without distraction.
