So then he that giveth [her] in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth [her] not in marriage doeth better.
Note 18 at 1 Cor. 7:38: Paul once again re-affirms that marriage is good (Prov. 18:22). But for those who have no necessity to get married, being single is even better.
