Next Verse

But to us [there is but] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom [are] all things, and we by him.

Note 10 at 1Co 8:6: Paul had just said there was "none other God but one" (see note 8 at 1Co 8:4). He here repeated this truth in the same verse where he spoke of Jesus being Lord (see note 3 at Lu 1:43). It is certain from his statements that he didn't believe in two Gods. Yet Paul said very clearly in 1Ti 3:16 that "God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." This definitely refers to Jesus as being God, showing that Paul believed in one God manifest in more than one person.
