Note 10 at 1Co 10:12: Paul was admonishing those who thought they were strong because of their superior knowledge (see note 4 at 1Co 8:1) to be careful, because even they could be tempted.

No one is beyond temptation. It may not come as easily to some as to others, depending on past experiences or current thinking, but those who drop their guards and indulge in lustful practices can be tempted (Jas 1:14-15).
