For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
Note 9 at 1Co 15:27: This verse is simply saying that everything and everyone is under Christ except the Father. The Living Bible says it this way: "except, of course, Christ does not rule over the Father himself, who gave Him this power to rule."
