For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
Note 9 at 1 Cor. 15:27: This verse is simply saying that everything and everyone is under Christ except the Father. The Living Bible says it this way, "...except of course Christ does not rule over the Father, who gave Him this power."
