Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak [this] to your shame.
Note 10 at 1Co 15:34: In context, focusing on righteousness instead of evil will keep people from being led into sin (see note 6 at 1Co 15:33). People can't be tempted with what they don't think about (see note 5 at Ro 16:19). Paul was continuing the thought that he began in 1Co 15:33 concerning withdrawal from evil associations. Of course, it's obvious that not everyone has the knowledge of God or lives a godly lifestyle. Paul was speaking this sarcastically to shame the Corinthians, who had allowed this ungodly doctrine that denied the resurrection to corrupt them.
