But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
Note 6 at 1 Cor. 15:38: This is saying that different seeds produce different plants. Wheat seeds don't produce corn stalks. Tomato seeds don't produce fruit trees. They produce after their own kind. Likewise, humans will not be resurrected as some other creature. We will still be humans, but we will be immortal and incorruptible (vv. 53-54).
