1 Corinthians 15:44
Next Verse

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Note 13 at 1 Cor. 15:44: The fact that our resurrected body will be "spiritual" does not mean that it will be intangible. Jesus said of His resurrected spiritual body, "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have" (Lk. 24:39). He ate broiled fish and a honey comb in His spiritual body (Lk. 24:41-43). He was tangible but He was spiritual, too.

Philippians 3:21 says, "Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body. . ." First John 3:2 says, ". . . it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." Our resurrected body will be like Jesus' resurrected body. It will be wonderful!
