Note 17 at 1Co 15:49: This is a very comforting scripture that goes a long way toward answering the question of "How can this happen?" (see note 1 at 1Co 15:35). No one had to understand anything to be born and have a natural body. It just happened by birth. Likewise, through the new birth (see note 2 at Joh 3:3), all true believers will inherit this glorified body. No one has to understand it. It will happen just as surely as the natural body came into being.

And in the same way as we could not escape from this natural body, so we will be inseparably tied to our spiritual bodies.
