1 Thessalonians 3:11
Next Verse

Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.

Note 15 at 1 Th. 3:11: Time after time Satan had hindered Paul from coming to the Thessalonians (see note 9 at 1 Th. 2:18, p. 1231). Paul is now directly appealing to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who has all power in heaven and in earth (Mt. 28:18), to direct his way unto them. God is mightier than Satan, and Paul is looking unto the Lord for a breakthrough.
