1 Thessalonians 3:12
Next Verse

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all [men], even as we [do] toward you:

Note 16 at 1 Th. 3:12: The second part of Paul's prayer centers in asking that the love which the Thessalonians already had may abound and increase. Love is something that cannot be in excess. Paul's prayer is that love would not only abound toward the brethren but would also spill over to the unbelievers as well.

Paul is the leader in the example of love. He prayed they would "?increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, EVEN AS WE DO TOWARD YOU."
