Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

Note 11 at 1 Th. 4:5: Paul is saying that there should be a difference between the conduct of a Christian and that of a non-Christian. That's logical. We have the nature of God in us while a lost person has the nature of the devil (Eph. 2:2-3). That should translate into our lifestyle being as different from the world's lifestyle as the difference between God and the devil.
