Note 12 at 1 Tim. 4:11: Ministers are not only to command, but also to teach. Blind obedience is not what the scriptures present. There needs to be an explanation so people will know why they are supposed to act a certain way. Cults practice blind obedience. Christianity solicits obedience from people who have been informed of all the wonderful things God has done for them.
