Note 15 at 2Co 3:16: Moses' veil was upon his face. Israel's veil is upon their hearts. Nevertheless, when they turn their hearts to the true and living God through Christ Jesus, their blindness shall be taken away entirely. The Greek word "EPISTREPHO" ("turn") was also translated as variations of "converted" and "turn about" (Mt 9:22, 13:15; Mr 4:12, 5:30, 8:33; Lu 22:32; Joh 12:40, 21:20; Ac 3:19, 28:27; Ga 4:9; and Jas 5:19-20).
