2 Corinthians 3:16
Next Verse

Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

Note 15 at 2 Cor. 3:16: Moses' veil was upon his face. Israel's veil is upon their hearts. Nevertheless, when they turn their hearts to the true and living God through Christ Jesus, their blindness shall be taken away entirely. The Greek word "epistrepho" (turn) is also translated "to be converted" or "turn about" (Mt. 9:22; 13:15; Mk. 4:12; 5:30; 8:33; Lk. 22:32; Jn. 12:40; 21:20; Acts 3:19; 28:27; Gal. 4:9; Jas. 5:19-20).
