We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Note 14 at 2 Cor. 4:13: Paul is now speaking about having the same kind of faith in God as the Old Testament psalmist. He is quoting Psalm 116:10 (see O.T. Scripture cited, above). Paul's point is that his faith in God causes him to speak and proclaim the truth of the gospel just as the Old Testament prophets' faith caused them to speak.
