2 Corinthians 4:14
Next Verse

Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present [us] with you.

Note 15 at 2 Cor. 4:14: Paul had just spoken in verse 12 about enduring death so that life could come to others. He now shows why he is so willing to do this. It's because he believes in the resurrection. Anything we suffer in this life will be more than compensated for in the life to come (Rom. 8:18). Paul expounds on this in verse 17 and reveals that it is his eternal view that reduced all his problems to just a light affliction (see note 19 at v. 17).
