For all things [are] for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

Note 16 at 2 Cor. 4:15: Paul endured all his afflictions for the sake of others. He denied himself so that others could receive. Through this, many glorified his Lord and Savior, which was reward enough for Paul.
