2 Corinthians 7:12
Next Verse

Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, [I did it] not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.

Note 19 at 2 Cor. 7:12: Paul wrote to the Corinthians with several purposes in mind: (1) to help this one who had sinned; (2) to help the one who had been wronged; (3) to show Paul's care for the Corinthians. However, Paul's primary concern was the well being of the entire body of believers at Corinth. This clearly illustrates that our sins don't just affect us. They affect everyone we associate with.
