And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise [is] in the gospel throughout all the churches;

Note 3 at 2 Cor. 8:18: Titus is to be accompanied by another well known, unnamed brother who was highly praised for his work in the gospel by the other churches of Macedonia. Many have speculated as to who this brother could be. Among the names suggested are: Luke, Barnabas, Mark, and Epaenetus (Rom. 16:5).
