For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
Note 1 at 2 Cor. 9:1: Paul is stating in verses 1 and 2 that it is "superfluous," i.e. unnecessary, to keep on writing about the subject of giving since he knows how anxious and willing the Corinthians are to help the saints of Judea.
