This [is] the third [time] I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
Note 1 at 2 Cor. 13:1: As Paul is closing this letter, he begins to give some last minute instructions before his arrival in Corinth. In the second part of this verse, he quotes from Deuteronomy 17:6 or 19:15 to establish the fact that it requires the evidence of at least two or three witnesses to establish a matter. This is said because he had previously told them he was coming back to Corinth bust as yet he hadn't made it yet.
