2 Corinthians 13:7
Next Verse

Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

Note 7 at 2 Cor. 13:7: Paul's motives are clearly seen in this verse. He truly wants the Corinthians to succeed regardless of what they think of him. Paul wants them to prosper regardless of their opinion of him. What a lesson this is in Christian character, to desire the welfare and benefit of others over our own.
