Next Verse

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Note 1 at 2 Cor. 13:11: Paul is now closing his letter with the following words: "farewell" -an expression used to wish the Corinthians joy and happiness; "be perfect" -complete, strengthened and mature; "be of good comfort" -encouraged and comforted; "be of one mind, live in peace" -live in harmony, unity, and peace; "and the God of love and peace shall be with you."
