Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
Note 1 at 2 Th. 1:1: Paul was the author of this letter. He directed the content under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit with Silas and Timothy in agreement (see note 1 at 1 Th. 1:1, p. 1224).
