So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
Note 5 at 2 Th. 1:4: The apostle Paul was so impressed at the Thessalonians' growth that he could not help telling the other churches. Even during a time of persecution and suffering the Thessalonians continued to believe and trust in Christ. Behavior that impressed the apostle Paul is worth noting and imitating.
