Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
Note 11 at 2 Th. 2:5: Paul had told the Thessalonians these things before. Although he spoke of the second coming of the Lord in 1 Thessalonians 4:18-5:9, he did not speak specifically about this "man of sin." Therefore, it is to be assumed that this was part of the instruction he gave the Thessalonians in person when he was with them (Acts 17:1-9).
