2 Thessalonians 3:11
Next Verse

For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

Note 11 at 2 Th. 3:11: The old adage, "an idle mind is the devil's workshop" is not a scripture, but it is a scriptural principle. These Thessalonians who were not working were meddling in other people's business. A person who is busy working and making a living seldom has time to interfere in the affairs of others because they are occupied with their own lives. Hard work is healthy-physically and mentally.
