2 Thessalonians 3:16
Previous Verse
2 Thessalonians 3:16
Next Verse

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord [be] with you all.

Note 15 at 2 Th. 3:16: Paul was praying for the Thessalonians to experience God's peace regardless of their situation. The Amplified Bible translates this verse as, "Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace the peace of His kingdom at all times and in all ways - under all circumstances and conditions, whatever comes."

Note 16 at 2 Th. 3:16: The Lord is always with us. He said He would be with us always, even unto the end of the world (Mt. 28:20). He will never leave us nor forsake us (Heb. 13:5). Therefore, Paul must be speaking of the manifest presence and power of the Lord being with us.
