Men [and] brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
Note 7 at Ac 1:16: The Old Testament prophecy that Peter was referring to is the prophecy of Ac 1:20. Before coming to the point, Peter mentioned the same fulfillment of prophecy concerning Judas' death that Matthew cited in Mt 27:9.
