For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.
Note 8 at Ac 1:20: There is no one verse in the book of Psalms that contains the prophecy that Peter quoted here. Rather this is a combination of two different passages. The first part is quoted from Ps 69:25, and the second part is probably from Ps 109:8.
