And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Note 3 at Acts 2:2: Notice that the scripture does not say that there was a wind, but rather the sound of a rushing mighty wind. It was apparently calm in the room, which made this sound of a rushing mighty wind all the more awesome.
