Acts 4:8
Previous Verse
Acts 4:8
Next Verse

Note 4 at Ac 4:8: Peter had denied Jesus in front of a servant girl just a few weeks before (Mr 14:66-68 and Lu 22:56-57). Here he fearlessly proclaimed the Lord Jesus in front of the high priest and the council. The difference was being filled with the Holy Ghost, whom Jesus said would empower them to be witnesses (Ac 1:8).
