Acts 5:3
Previous Verse
Acts 5:3
Next Verse

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back [part] of the price of the land?

Note 2 at Acts 5:3: There is no mention in these scriptures that Peter had any carnal knowledge of Ananias' and Sapphira's deception. It is therefore probable that this was the supernatural gifts of the word of knowledge and the discerning of spirits at work through Peter (1 Cor. 12:8-10).
