Note 2 at Ac 5:14: It was not just the doctrine of the early church that caused multitudes of people to come to Jesus. They were walking in one accord (see note 3 at Joh 13:35), and they had the power of the Holy Ghost actively displayed in their lives through signs and wonders (see notes 17-19 at Joh 14:12). When believers manifest the power of God's Word through their lives, multitudes will come to the Lord (see note 4 at Ac 4:30).
