And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

Note 2 at Acts 5:14: It was not just the doctrine of the early church that caused multitudes of people to come to Jesus. They were walking in one accord (see note 3 at Jn. 13:35, p. 484) and they had the power of the Holy Ghost actively displayed in their lives through signs and wonders (see notes 17-19 at Jn. 14:12, p. 492). When we manifest the power of God's Word through our lives, multitudes will come to the Lord too (see note 4 at Acts 4:30, p. 592).
