Acts 5:21
Previous Verse
Acts 5:21
Next Verse

And when they heard [that], they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

Note 4 at Acts 5:21: The fact they entered into the temple early in the morning would indicate that they were eager to once again share the gospel of Jesus Christ. They were not intimidated by the chief priests' threats at all. This is the spirit of a true believer over whom Jesus is truly Lord. "They loved not their lives unto the death" (Rev. 12:11b).
