Note 3 at Ac 7:57: Many people are offended at other people's claims of spiritual experiences. However, in this case, these Jews were mostly offended by Stephen's reference to Jesus, whom they had condemned as being a blasphemer, being exalted to the right hand of God (see note 6 at Mr 10:37).
