Acts 7:58
Previous Verse
Acts 7:58
Next Verse

And cast [him] out of the city, and stoned [him]: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

Note 4 at Ac 7:58: This young man, Saul, went on to persecute those who believed in Jesus (Ac 8:3) until his own conversion to Christianity (Ac 9:3-20) and transformation into the Apostle Paul (Ac 13:9). Stephen's witness was no doubt one of those pricks that Saul had been kicking against (Ac 9:5).
