Acts 7:60
Previous Verse
Acts 7:60
Next Verse

And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Note 5 at Acts 7:60: Stephen exhibited the same forgiveness and compassion towards his murders as Jesus had towards his (Lk. 23:34). This God-like quality of forgiveness was not confined to God alone, but through Jesus indwelling the believer, that same love can flow through each one of us (Gal. 2:20).
