Previous Verse
Acts 7:60
Next Verse

And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Note 5 at Ac 7:60: Stephen exhibited the same forgiveness and compassion toward his murderers that Jesus had toward His (Lu 23:34). This God-like quality of forgiveness is not confined to God alone; through Jesus indwelling the believers (Ga 2:20), that same love can flow through each one of us.
