And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
Note 3 at Acts 8:6: Luke clearly ties the tremendous response of the people to the gospel in with the working of these miracles. Miracles are an indispensable part of the preaching of the gospel (see ref. i at this verse).
