Acts 8:13
Previous Verse
Acts 8:13
Next Verse

Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

Note 4 at Acts 8:13: In a contest between Simon, operating under the supernatural power of Satan, and Philip, walking in the supernatural power of God, God won so convincingly that even Simon acknowledged it and was baptized. There are people who possess demonic power, but it is no match for God's power.
