And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
Note 1 at Acts 8:39: There are three other instances in scripture where people were translated. Jesus, his twelve disciples, and an entire ship were translated (see note 3 at Jn. 6:21, p. 238), and Jesus was translated two other times (Lk. 24:31 and Jn. 20:19). Philip was translated approximately 20 miles.
