Previous Verse
Acts 8:39
Next Verse

And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

Note 1 at Ac 8:39: There are three other instances in Scripture where people were translated. Jesus, His twelve disciples, and an entire ship were translated (see note 3 at Joh 6:21), and Jesus was translated two other times (Lu 24:31 and Joh 20:19). Philip was translated approximately twenty miles.
